Railings in Wigan
Railings finish off a frontage. We make them to measure in our Wigan workshop, in the same tops, rail heads and colours as our gates, then galvanise and powder coat them so they won't rust.

Why our railings?
Made for your home, not cut from stock
Made to measure
Every run is made to fit your wall, garden or boundary exactly, not cut down from stock lengths.
Matches your gates
The same tops, rail heads and colours as our gates, so the whole frontage looks like one piece.
Won't rust
Galvanised, then powder coated, so it stands up to North West winters.
Fitted by us
Our own team fits your railings. No subcontractors, and fitting is included in the price.

What customers say
Built on word of mouth
How much do railings cost?
It depends on how long the run is, how tall the railings are and the design you choose. We measure up for free and give you a fixed price, with fitting included.
Will my railings rust?
No. Every railing is galvanised after it's welded, which protects the steel inside and out, and then powder coated in your colour. That's far tougher than paint, so there's no rubbing down and repainting every few years.
Can you match my gates or my old railings?
Yes. Everything is made in our own workshop, so we can match gates we're making for you, gates you already have, or the pattern of old railings. Show us a photo or we'll look when we measure up.
Can you fit railings on top of my wall?
Usually, yes. We look at the wall when we measure up and tell you the best way to fix them, so they're solid and the wall isn't damaged.
How tall can railings be? Do I need planning permission?
Usually you can have railings up to 1 metre high next to a road, or up to 2 metres elsewhere, without planning permission, counting the wall they sit on. Listed buildings and conservation areas have their own rules. We'll talk it through when we measure up.
How long does it take?
Typical lead time is around 12 weeks from order to fitting. We'll confirm the date when you order.
Which areas do you cover?
Our workshop is in Wigan and we fit railings across the borough, including Standish, Orrell, Pemberton, Newtown, Ince, Hindley, Aspull, Shevington, and the wider North West.
