How much do wrought iron gates cost?

Will my gates rust?
No. Every gate is galvanised after it's welded, which protects the steel inside and out, and then powder coated in your colour. That's far tougher than paint, so there's no rubbing down and repainting every few years.
Do wrought iron gates need any maintenance?
Very little. Wash them with soapy water now and then, and keep the hinges and latch moving. If the coating ever gets a deep scratch, touch it in so it stays sealed.
Can you match my railings or an old design?
Yes. Everything is made in our own workshop, so we can match existing railings or copy the pattern of old gates. Show us a photo or we'll look when we measure up.
How tall can my gates be? Do I need planning permission?
Usually you can have gates up to 1 metre high next to a road, or up to 2 metres elsewhere, without planning permission. Listed buildings and conservation areas have their own rules. We'll talk it through when we measure up.
How long does it take?
Typical lead time is around 12 weeks from order to fitting. We'll confirm the date when you order.
